I have noticed more bugs and seemingly UI error laziness in my phone apps in the last 6 months. I am sure some of these are from small team developers using AI and pushing though to dev without proper testing.

I still miss the Google Reader for RSS the most.
I had mine tuned perfectly at the time. I tried the alternatives when it was shutdown but none were equal to me. I lost interest and moved on without it.
its a different time now, not sure if I would go back if it was available.

AI is a tool that needs to find its 'safe use' first. Maybe its not fully ready for general masses vibe coding .
Its like inventing a the first power sawing tool and we running around seeing what things we can cut. Its make such a quick job of things but makes messy cuts on other things. The problem is this power saw tool is being sold at Home Depot, no license required, anyone can give it a try

Maybe we need industry to rename A.I. to something else to disassociate from the persona. how about: Copy Replicate Automate Paste?

Its really programmers using an AI tool and auto-complete in an editor is a tool as well.
So soon we will have to draw a line: when is AI writing code and when is it a tool? will it always be a tool? if one single prompt writes an entire bug free project, is that AI writing code 100%?

We got really excited and went on a HR spending spree, when we came back to the office we were ...like...er.... oops.

I really like the idea of a diner profile following me around but one I get to edit. for example:
- I will know what I would like to drink as soon as I am seated
- we prefer quite tables over window seats
- I dont need to be asked "how is everything tasting"
- Please always provide extra napkins for our children
