Journal TheIndividual's Journal: Alchemy 5.3 uploaded, poll, new mirror 6

Things can change quickly. Someone has posted Alchemy 5.3 on edonkey, I verified the file with my inside source and have uploaded it to the website.
The one who leaked it would probably lose his/her subscription anyways since the file was in the public already.
However I am interested what people think about hosting tagged files obtained from P2P, so please voice your opinion in this poll.
You can also post questions and comments at this forum. Help each others out!

And there's more good news: I have a new mirror, thanks to a supporter from hungary :) There can never be enough...

  • Am I mistaken in thinking that they're not really violating the GPL, unless they're not providing the source to anyone who requests it?

    IANAL, but as I remember, the GPL doesn't have anything to do with binaries - only the source, and asks that the source be provided to any third party.

    This means that as long as they post the source, they are *not* under obligation to post the binary. More importantly, redistribution of the binary is *not* covered under the GPL, only the source (this, for example, is how R
