As an SAP/ ABAP programmer myself, I have my full suppport for your last three lines. We must force all programmers to use English as their programming lingua-franca. Not only for the variables, but also comments!
This will help other people to understand it a little more.
In contrary with SAP, they always write things with German! !@#$%!@#$& ... Not only variables, but comments, and even the function documentation! So how can we use their function???????
