Comment "Inclusive" terminology (Score 1) 522

How nice it is! It appears that if we just prohibit the words "slave" and "master", then slaves will at once by a magic feel themselves a free and decent, respectable people! It looks as if we still have in our 21-st century the human slavery as a common phenomenon! And if we just prohibit the words "black" and "white", then black-skinned people will at once by a magic stop being black-skinned, become indistinguishable from a white-skinned people, and stop feeling themselves damaged compared to a white-skinned people! What a simple solution to the big problem when somebody feels himself/herself damaged compared to somebody else, just prohibit the words denoting the "offensive" attributes - and that's all!
If somebody feels a fierce butthurt from the words "master", "slave", "black", and "white", it's his/her personal problem, not anybody else's, and he/she is highly recommended to immediately seek an assistance from a qualified psychiatrist instead of stuffing his/her butthurt in the others' faces. Everyone should solve his/her personal problems at his/her own expense, not others'! And the most ridiculous and absurd is that this so called "inclusive" terminology looking as a pharisaism is most actively promoted and even obtruded by a white-skinned people whose ancestors were never slaves. If somebody cares of the others interests more than the others care of their own interests, that looks just lame and absurd.

Comment Surveilance and control again (Score 1) 118

I think the Mozilla as an american entity shouldn't obey or respect dumb local laws of other countries. If other countries governments want to survey and control what their residents browse, upload and download and block any content they dislike, that's only their problems, not the people's ones and nobody's obligations. As for governments themselves, it's worth for them to forget forever about surveilance and control over what the people do online and blocking the people from accessing some undesirable for them content, because they already lost the battle for the control over the people due to the technology progress that gave the people powers they didn't possess before. Even if governments ban some technology allowing the people to elude the government surveilance and control by legislation, they in fact won't be able to effectively enforce that ban, any attempts to enforce that ban are predoomed to fail because they are in fact attempts to dip out the ocean. Even the Great China Firewall is in fact a sieve that the people can soak through, and even the Northern Korea people soaks through the borders by WiFi to gain access to the free Internet, and the only way to stop the people from eluding the bans is to permanently cut off the electricity and thus herd the entire country into the Dark Ages and dismiss all thoughts of the entire country development.
