Yeap sorry don't consider this good enough you are just running on luck I have seen unpatched Win 98 and Win Xp systems with no firewall or AV that had been online not be infected with anything yet this was not the norm

Your best bet along with at least a good AV software and a third party firewall or set up win 7 + firewall for outbound connections too.

While perhaps good in concept, once something is put online there is a good chance somebody will save a copy, even if protections are put in place against saving. Enough Said

Hmm that reminds me of TUBEing site that YOU might can help me remember. They made certain changes that made users unhappy and had a similar attitude. If these are textbooks how are they tracking them gps, rfid, ip address when rented (the most stupid way of all) or is this just some stupid rule that can be easily gotten around (Take the books where needed than later ship them back from the original state)
