You can do basic operations in a macOS Open/Save dialog (some options are buried under a right-click).

I guess I think it is intuitive because I felt like it aligns with how other things in macOS behave. I'm not sitting at one of our CentOS boxes right now but I think you can do something very similar by dragging a folder to a terminal window and it populates the path for you. It drive me nuts that I can't do that on a basic Windows command prompt...

Youâ(TM)re missing the intuitive part of macOS. If youâ(TM)re already keeping multiple explorer/finder windows open, just drag the folder you want to save the file in to the open/save window. It takes you to that location immediately, unlike Windows, which happily moves your files/folders to the location in your open/save window or some something else stupid like that.

You realize T2 does a heck of a lot more than anything related to DRM right? This is 100% arbitrary and 100% Netflix.

You haven't checked too often. Watching one episode of Shark Tank makes it pretty clear you often have to pay for shelf space to get products into stores.

Believe Apple has already said the ARM Macs can run Linux. Also a fair chance there will be Windows options but it will likely have to be via emulation or the ARM version of Windows (which I can't think of a single reasonable use-case for at this point).

I suspect we'll be buying a number of the last Intel Macs for our users at work. Anyone that needs to run Windows software as well will likely want an Intel Mac while a solution is developed, tested, shown to actually work on the ARM Macs.

That works with the Intel Macs, not so much with the upcoming ARM based chips as far as anyone knows...

You need to remember though that the 30% cut on the more expensive services also helps cover the fact that a significant portion of the apps and services available on the App Store are free.

Remind me what cut Apple is getting for all of the Google apps, Facebook, Twitter, or that random app you love that some friend of yours made and posted.

Their rates are set as they are because it is consistent and applies to everyone, whether you are Netfix or your neighbor down the street. Level playing field for all.

What the heck is wrong with your setup that you can get the Mac version of Excel to load? We support hundreds of Macs, all of which use Excel and I have no idea what you are talking about...

Apple knew they needed to upgrade their laptop processors and there was no viable PPC option to get them to G5. IBM also wasnâ(TM)t focusing on a next gen upgrade for the G5. They promoted the G5 as the supercomputer processor, and it was. The pro desktop machines were consistently faster but laptops were where the market was going. You canâ(TM)t lose the largest part of the market and continue to be successful. It was a switch to something with a path forward, or stagnate choice. Not really all that different than their options now with Intel. The roadmap isnâ(TM)t impressive (and isnâ(TM)t being met). Apple has the ability to design custom processors for any product they want to release and not have to beg Intel to make something new like they did with the original Air and tried to do with the iPhone (and Intel said no).

I was interested, I've used Vudu's disc-to-digital service with Movies Anywhere to provide digital copies of movies I already had that can be used with any of the services. I wish more services offered the ability.

And yes, I absolutely know I can rip the movies, but then I have to have them stored on my device or somewhere accessible to the cloud to be able to watch them whenever and wherever I want. Being able to randomly access them through any number of services to stream is pretty handy...

Meanwhile, every iPhone since the 6s released in 2015 can be upgraded to the absolute latest OS release from Apple. And every single one of them can upgrade on the day an OS update is released.

How many of those phones are running the latest Android OS, and how many will be in 1-2 years? How many of them have one of the fastest mobile processors available?
