...is that a copy of the email can be store elsewhere on a server, for backups, whatever. With this key, not only can you be sure that the person who gets it is the only one who can read it, but also that it won't be read later by somebody else. How many people turn back their CPU clocks before they open a file? *poof* Key disappeared, mail safe. :)
