I find myself losing interest in Slashdot more and more. It's not really the scope of the subjects, but it is the discussions, they are so predictable. Every other discussion comes very quickly down to a matter of Microsoft, Linux and Apple. Almost every subject that concerns biology (a subject that I like) leads to the same discussion and unfunny jokes about creationism and the spaghetti-monster.

Since I started following slashdot, discussions have been getting more and more superficial. Hardly anyone is sharing knowledge anymore, the focus is on hit-and-run remarks, few of which are original.

I am sorry for that.

something strange is going on today: slashdot won't accept any postings from me. I am not a frequent poster, but sometimes i think i have something to say. But all that happens now is a black screen (on preview) or an empty white screen (on submit). But, i can submit in my journal.
