Weirdly, for the enterprise software I support, there is more activity on LinkedIn than any other site so I find myself on there fairly often. At least the AI stuff is easy to spot currently with its distinctive writing style but I guess the proliferation of posts is a symptom of the tight job market - people are advised they need 500+ contacts and regular output or they are invisible. You can't incentivise frequent posting and not expect quality to suffer

The second hand market is limited. Suggesting secondhand as a mainstream solution will result in exactly what happened in the car market - prices went through the roof, even cars at the very lowest end got pricier and meant poorer folks couldn't buy them. Perhaps RAM will suffer from the same predatory pricing as new cars - simply pay off the sticks of memory over 5 years and spread the cost!
