Comment iMac: a taste of things to come (Score 1) 494
You might all be bashing this new design, but look what amazing things came from the first iMac design:
-Every computer company now has a cheaper model for the consumer.
-Towers have been given a more ergonomic look.
-One click internet is a standard on most consumer models.
-Those five funky colors showed up everywhere from phones to George Foreman grills.
The iMac and Apple's innovations are probably one of the best indications of what we will be seeing other PC companies do in the future. I agree with Steve that this model is probably "The death of CRT" and am pretty sure we'll see all of those other guys making LCD monitors standard.
Remember: You shouldn't bash new innovations, 'cause pretty soon you'll be using it.
