Journal Journal: Let's settle our differences 2

Slashdot user "Goaway" replied to a comment I left on the post "The Large Hadron Collider Has Been Recreated In Lego." First of all, I think he/she has a good point. It would only take a couple of hours a day for a month to make the thing. At the moment, I was surprised at the seemingly immense amount of time it would take to create such a model. I tend to think of things in a broader sense, I suppose (i.e. 81 hours a month vs. 2.7 hours a day, $360 dollars a year vs. $30 a month, etc.) I apologize for this.
However, I will strongly disagree with Goaway that my life is devoid of creativity. As hobbies, I am a writer, film maker, composer, musician, origamist, and even a bit of a painter. I am more an artist than a scientist. Anyone who would even think about calling me uncreative obviously does not know me. I realize that I just should have kept my mouth shut, but I don't really find Lego's or model making interesting. Goaway, if you are reading this right now, I hope you will accept my apology and offer one of your own. I'm sure we could even be good acquaintances if you are willing.
