According to the Norwegian copyright law, they get protection for the life of the author + 70 years. If they first get published after that protection period, they will get a 25 year protection period from the date of the publication.

As a matter fact, in Obama's first year or so, there was a bipartisan bill to have the IRS do your taxes, mail you out completed forms, and if agreed, you signed them or filed your own.
That is how it is done in Norway now, and most do it online.
