Journal Surak's Journal: I'm no longer feeding the trolls. 8

I'm rather bored with feeding the trolls. Not bored, actually, just sick of it. They can post whatever they want, whatever, I'm just going to ignore them. I don't care anymore. Whatever. Some people have better things to do with their time on this system and would rather engage in useful, constructive conversation than play childish games. The last thing I'm gonna say to the morons who keep trolling me: grow the fuck up and get a life.

  • I try not to fee the trolls either. Sometimes it happens though.
  • On the flip-side, though, the Slashdot trolls are an important part of Slashdot that gives us all something in common. Slashdot trolling has a rich history, and anyone ignorant of that history are quickly taught. It can be fascinating. 50 years from now, you will have forgotten all the Slashdot stories, but you will always remember "In Soviet Russia". I'm considering making a "Slashdot Scavenger Hunt" in my journal, and lots of the Slashdot items to find will be troll-related.

    • Ah, but that was for the purpose of discrediting $$$$$exyGal, whom I saw at the time as nothing more than a troll and fan-whore, which she was. I will say that $$$$$exyGal has changed her behaviour since she went away and came back, and she's calmed down and started to become a a real positive for the Slashdot community. I MEAN it when I say that, too.
