Would you like to day $40+ for a game, only to live in a region where all of a sudden you're not allowed to create an account you're not forced to otherwise you no longer have access to the content you paid for?
The linking of accounts is a lot more of an issue than just signing up when Sony literally wont allow a huge chunk of players to do so.
Yeah, its "silly"...
Yeah that would suck, but I'm not sure if its a 'huge chunk.' I would be interested in what percentage of Helldivers II players this actually impacts, I am guessing its not nearly as high as those belly aching about it. For what its worth I recall seeing the badge for it requiring a 3rd party account on the store page and linking mine the moment I got in to it. While this wasn't a hard requirement to get into the game at first it wasn't exactly hidden from the player that this could be coming down the road.
"Driver bundles remain un-updated for years after their initial release. BIOS updates go through long and confusing beta processes, keeping users from getting feature improvements, bug fixes, and security updates. In its community support forums, Framework employees, including founder and CEO Nirav Patel, have acknowledged these issues and promised fixes but have remained inconsistent and vague about actual timelines."
As a recent Framework 13/AMD owner, I can confirm that it does not sleep properly on a default Windows 11 install. When I close the lid in the evening, the battery is dead the next morning.
It's interesting to hear from Linux Sebastian (LTT) on the topic because he is a stakeholder in Framework.
It's their own damn house. There is no such thing as an Airbnb "unit".
If Airbnb wants to implement the same rules as hotels then they need to be taxed and regulated as such. If they're still claiming these are people's homes being rented out then the homeowner can damn well put up cameras to protect themselves and find out who's destroying their property.
I'm willing to wager the majority of listings on Airbnb or other similar services are no longer, if they ever were, owner occupied units looking to make a little money on the side.
