I am feeling pretty lame about this, but I am unable to figure out the keyboard shorcut to switch between tabs in Safari.

Maybe Ctrl-Tab?

In well a coded window containing tabs, Ctrl-Tab should work. For example, most of the System/Display /etc settings in Windows is Ctrl-Tab "compatible"
