When peer-to-peer networks came about we began to distribute files ourselves; why waste the time of burning a cd, packing shipping, storing, selling, buying, unwrapping, and playing a cd when at a fraction of the cost you can download it directly. With new services like Strayform artists and fans can now fund, distribute, and advertise without need of corporate middlemen. I think we are going to get tired of putting up with ads, DRM, lawsuits and start cutting out the corporate middlemen totally.
