Facebook has a problematic past, but Xitter and E-loon have seemed to really go out of their way to make advertisers and users flee, in short order, while making a safe space for the worst people and destroying third-party data use (ruining many businesses). Facebook seems angelic in comparison.

The Threads I'm on is hopping. I suppose those still perched in the Xitter hellsite have to maintain their bias. Threads first went up and down in an unsurprising manner, and now it's just growing normally, and the web version has worked as a new spark.

Most of the advertisers are gone so I guess "they hate Elon" too. LOL Really, tho, people are continuing to leave Xitter - I see people announcing it continuously.

Social media that censors harmful/hateful content is what works best for _social_ media, tho. The E-loon version of "free speech" (anything goes no matter who it harms) is the exception. And Xitter is dying as I type - I can't count the people I know who are fleeing it.

Didn't use Cortana, and I doubt I will use anything "powered" by a Bing doo-dad. Keep trying to distract us, MS - and we'll keep foiling your efforts. We just want an OS to get the work done that we want done. You're here for us - not the other way around.

Because not everyone is a privacy crank, I suppose. I personally don't mind a company checking into their own technology, which legally I have only licensed anyway. Same goes for modern cars as for desktop software.
