Wow, thanks for all of the questions and comments. I'm the first author of the paper. The paper took 3 years of research and I am really proud of the results. IBM came out with the pioneering SNN inference chip TrueNorth, and now in our paper we've gone a few steps further in terms of showing SNN and ANN duality that enabled training SNNs to high accuracy using deep learning frameworks and BPTT.
