Ok, so for me (as I am living in Europe) this excuse is valid to me?
What about those poor USA citizens who desperately want to access Non-USA content??

Allthough Aegir is in active development each release is stable enough for production use and migrations between releases are supported. Allthough right now it only supports Drupal the basic infrastructure is in place to support other LAMP applications in the future.
My company runs a virtual lab setup that is build on top of vmlogix labmanager. It handles automated rollouts of test machines but you're still on your own to handle the applications logic.
