Submission + - IBM to buy AMD?
SpiceMonkey writes: "AMD stock was up 6.74% on Monday on rumors that AMD is a prime buyout target. The AMD message board on Yahoo! is full of speculation that IBM is the buyer. If IBM indeed buys out AMD, the CPU war would become IBM vs. Intel which would be very interesting. Does anyone want to speculate what would happen 2-3 years down the road if IBM buys AMD?"
