Illigal copies made them popular almost 20 years ago. When their music was really worth of something. When they really played Heavy Metal and not this crap they do nowadays. Back in 80s they were symbol of indepent music for many people. Music mattered not the number of albums they sold. They didn't appear on TV all the time and they didn't have 10,000 awards. But they were really awarded by their fans, because of their music. I believe money and popularity blinded them. Neither their music is cool nor their actions against Napster. They better stick their 'Load', 'Reload', 'Overload' (or whatever the name of the album is gonna be) in to their a****. Personally I don't even download their records thru Napster, coz this crap is not worth of my time and I don't want to damage my eyes with this so-called 'heavy metal' band, which is got nothing with it besides its name. Metallica's been dead for almost 10 years and they just proved they no longer play music and do it for fun but they really really do it for money... big money.
