I was there too, and nothing Linus said could be construed as M$ bashing. The remark ha had made about Microsoft controlling that floor of McCormick Place was b/c he had just stated that Linux is in use at nuclear power plants, and then the lights went out. I thought Linus' presentation was much better than Bill's. I kept falling asleep during Gates presentation except for the video of Gates and Ballmer as the Roxbury brothers from SNL. It was shame that they had Linus speak in such a small room. Many people who wanted to listen had to give up b/c they couldn't see or hear Linus.
