Nurses often work 3 or 4 days a weeks already. At least those working in hospitals, urgent care, emergency services and such do. Those working in M-F environments like cosmetic surgery, dialysis, call centers, they would probably have to continue to work 5 days a week.
Doctors work strange schedules as well. Some do 24, most do 12. And overnights.
Oh, and EMTs often work 24-36 in a row.
So no, it wouldn't apply to EVERYONE, but it may be appropriate for some industries.
