Lone-wolf? Yep. That's me. Didn't think pretending to believe in a [gG]od was necessary and I have a brand new spanking label. The oath taken by the military (for the enlisted guys) is in part to "...to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC;... I just want to know when that's actually going to happen. The third stanza is to obey orders, the first is to defend the Constitution. And no, I'm not advocating a forceful change of government. Advocating a return to constitutional rule, even peacefully, might be considered treason now.

Precluding someone from working in their field at all and putting food on their table is a form of violence. I realize he probably has enough money to eat, but when this kind of judgment is applied to the people making far less money the inevitable tragic response shouldn't surprise anybody. I could see him restricted from marketing for Redhat, but this is a sickening example of imperialism of the very rich. We are facing problems now that our founders never envisioned and we need to stop this once and for all. Can you imagine this kind of "agreement" preventing farmers from farming a hundred years ago? These kind of laws have really screwed up the free trade of services and created a type of serfdom. We've lived with it for years, but when the chains become too tight it is time to act. What sort of law or laws need to be passed to stop this? Can we legally ban the "you can't work anywhere else" covenants which seem to be necessary to work anywhere besides McDonalds? Why is it the arrogant software companies that think they can make slaves of their workers?

The amusing thing is that there might be a shred of truth to this. The first time I masturbated I had a copy of my Dad's Playboy - probably wouldn't have had the desire for another day, month, year, etc... without that valuable find. You can say that was the day I knew for sure I was REALLY interested in boobs (and the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders - 1975?).

On the other hand, some alarmist saying porn is more addictive than crack should have to deal with a child abusing marijuana, crack, or acid (can you tell what genertion I'm from). That statement reminds me of the saying that comparing anything to Nazis voids the argument.

While I really don't see the harm in viewing a hard romp, I think porn has gotten more and more degrading over the last 25 years. The rather ubiquitous anal to mouth, choking, and other "extreme" sex acts are something I don't want my child to see. Some young moron is going to say I should keep him on a leash while on the internet, but in real life you can't constantly watch your kids - too little time and money.

I can honestly say I wouldn't have done some things in bed without porn breaking down the mental barriers and generating curiousity about some acts. Also, it is a well-known custom of child abusers to show their targets kiddie porn to break down barriers, so I wonder if homo-porn actually broke down the barriers for the person in question. It's a valid question that the hard-core left refuses to acknowledge.

I am an atheist, so you can just pass the ammo. It looks like I'm gonna to need it. :-)
