Linux 3.17 Kernel Released With Xbox One Controller Support 114

An anonymous reader writes The Linux 3.17 kernel was officially released today. Linux 3.17 presents a number of new features that include working open-source AMD Hawaii GPU support, an Xbox One controller driver, free-fall support for Toshiba laptops, numerous ARM updates, and other changes.

jfruh writes: The Supreme Court issued a ruling that might help marginally curb patent madness. Ruling on a case between Medtronic and Mirowski Family Ventures, the court rules that the burden of proof in patent infringement cases is always on the patent holder. This is true even in the specific case at hand, in which Medtronic sought a declaratory judgement that it was not violating the Mirowski patents.

Have you ever heard about The Government Pension Fund of Norway?
I think this might distort the picture a bit.

Try with one of the non-oil-funded countries like Denmark, Luxembourg, Switzerland or the Netherlands.
