More likely they just didn't want to work with the people running the show and this catty excuse was their way to save face.

Long answer: Homework has spiraled out of control. We need to have a critical debate of what the actual point of homework is. Should it be a daily slog because that's what the curriculum demands, or is it because kids need repetition to learn a difficult subject.
A US middle school student will have 6-8 classes per day. If they all demand 1hr of homework... how does that not lead to burnout?
People who say "I really never really got the hate" are morons.
Apple Maps at release was a disaster. It was cartoonishly bad. I still don't use it because of that one time on a road trip it sent me into a rural hellhole to find a Chinese restaurant that never existed and could never exist in the hick shithole it sent me to.
I was literally afraid for my life just because some billion-dollar companies didn't want to play nice.
Apple didn't say this, it was just some asshole calling themselves an "analyst."
Apple is well aware that the VP is a failure. They're still going to push ahead though. The first iPhone and iPad were disappointing but it turned them into a trillion dollar company.
It sucks that when somebody famous experiences a traumatic brain injury, we all just accept that's how they are now. Not like a runner who loses a leg or a shooter who goes blind. Somehow getting brain damage just made them "switch politics" and not that they're deranged or mentally incompetent.
It's like somebody gets possessed by a demon, and we're just like: "Wow, that demon is really spouting truth bombs about dancing on the sabbath and immigrants."
The best part is when Torvalds unknowingly calls Musk "too stupid to run a tech company."
YT certainly isn't perfect, but in terms of entertainment value it's not even close. Cable and OTA is a cesspit of lowest common denominator trash. Whereas I can carve out my own little niche in YT with much higher quality content.
The only blind spot is local stuff. Especially breaking news like a natural disaster. That is the only time I switch to the antenna.
Maybe if they just gave GoT last seasons one more try, or the complete disaster of Last of Us.
Honestly, John Oliver is your strongest content generator, and that is incredibly sad.
It's like when calculators became prevalent. Schools will have to find ways to teach and test with AI in mind so that students aren't using it as a crutch, but rather a useful tool that needs skills to use properly.
I don't want AI slop in every facet of my life. Siri absolutely needs improvement but I'd rather is not be able to answer a question than confidently give the wrong answer.
Is the laser was on for only 45 picoseconds.
That's just "briefly exciting electrons" domain. You're not actually imparting any meaningful energy to the Gold's crystal lattice. Even suggesting a temperature at all is highly questionable.
I liked this joke better 20 years ago in a penny Arcade comic.

The MEV-1 successfully docked with a geostationary satellite in 2020. Completed its mission in April, and is on its way to dock with a second satellite. It uses the engine nozzle as a docking port.
What they're saying is starfish is planning the first commercial docking in Low Earth Orbit, which is a really dumb distinction to make.
Logitech G815. Satisfyingly clicky, not obnoxiously loud, low-profile keys, and programmable hot keys. Very sturdy construction as well. And of course the RGB so your boss knows you're a gamer not to be messed with.
I don't care what Apple thinks, but they're 100% right.
There is an alternate search engine, it's DuckDuckGo. Bing is an obnoxious mess.
Let's organize this thing and take all the fun out of it.
