Comment Phones = Super Satan (Score 1) 85

The only perfect phone call is the one that never takes place. I keep my cell phone on me at all times .... strictly for the internet. If someone calls me they better be on fire. There is no other logical reason that someone would make me get on a phone than if they were on fire and I was the last person on earth, and only I could put them out.

Easy just tell Toyota that they would be happy to take them all down, but that the rightful owners of those photos that were uploaded would need to be compensated with royalty payments to license (or in this case sorta unlicense) their IP. Desktop Nexus would surely be ok with sending Toyota invoices for those Royalty payments to their users. ~When site owner Harry Maugans requested clarification on exactly which wallpapers were copyrighted by Toyota, he was told that for them to cite specifics (in order to file proper DMCA Takedown Notices), they would invoice Desktop Nexus for their labor."

I worked for AT&T here is what we had people doing with their blackberries to fix them. If you have a BB problem try it. Hardshock: remove battery while device is powered on, leave battery out for several seconds. might as well take the time to see if your sim card is seated correct (att, tmobile, and a few others use sims. verizon, and sprint dont [except for maybe hybrid sprint/nextel phones]) If you're on att and get voice but no data look to see if next to your signal strength it says EDGE or edge. lower case means a full connection hasn't been made yet but capital means you should be good to go. in your advanced settings menu (the menus move around depending on skin [worst idea ever]) check that your default routing table is set to your carriers. check and see if you can sms. settings are sent to the phone in hidden text messages that the user never sees or gets charged for. if text is broke web will break as soon as something changes and an update gets pushed to your phone.

I worked for AT&T I was told several times that we did in fact still sell pagers. Mostly to medical workers because pagers don't have a transmitter. They don't send signals back, and while you could set up certain cellphones to do the same thing by turning off certain optional sms features (in phones that expose such things) there are still some times when a normal phone tries to talk back to the tower. That's a big no no around medical equipment. No one that I worked with could actually tell me which part of our company could actually provide a customer with a pager. The few times I had customers ask I had to tell them "yes our company does sell them, but I don't know anyone I could get you in touch with that could get you one, I have no number for you to call, no web site. We sell them, but no one knows how to get them I'm sorry."

They are so close to the real answer yet so far. The answer is that the copies that get rented out from blockbuster and such should lack some final content. The retail version should have that content. If you rent the game, then decide you like it enough to buy it. your save game should transfer over to your retail copy. Lastly if someone bought the game second hand they really don't care if your company makes more money or not, but to me it says that they didn't like your game enough to keep it and you're doing something wrong or they got the wrong impression when they bought their copy. Screw the rentals not purchases no matter if they are original sales or secondary sales. I know they look the same to your bottom line but there is a difference between logic and evil.

I have been using Windows 7 for 6 days. I hated vista after the second day of using it (in beta) Gave it another shot a month after it came out (still hated it), tried after sp1 (still hated it). So when I went to try Win 7 I was really hoping I wasn't going to hate it, and I didn't ... for about 3 maybe 3.5 days. It was so much faster, full motion thumbnails in the taskbar even if the app was a movie or 3d game (imagine browsing around the intarwebs with WoW in the background and not worrying to check back to the window every 30 seconds to make sure you haven't died. Then it happened. It would often lag while there wasn't anything really running, the hard drive would chug non stop as if it was defraging (doesn't stop unless you restart). Media center wouldn't work with my 360 (wtf MS?). I was often left wondering what in the world my computer was doing and why it wasn't doing only the things I wanted it to do. Finally about 30 minutes ago it happened. I rebooted after installing andlinux and I got a black screen of no boot death. I'll be going back to a custom iso of Winxp SP3 thank you very much.
