Journal Journal: HA HA HA! I was so pissed!

Wow, I was pretty peeved! I hadn't realised how foofed I got at someone throwing rocks at me. I suspect that makes me an easy target? *puts on helmet*

I'm laughing at myself now, though. Not too many people can do that, at least. I didn't used to, I used to hold aeon's old grudges. Grudges so deep that they may has well have been biblical.

I'm almost proud! :D Someone under "Anonymous Coward" got after me for posting that she-geeks do exist - but not phrasing it in a manner that in comparison should send W3 into screaming orgasms.

I had said "Yes, I'm a woman, married, in my twenties and I PLAY games right along with my hubby. We really exist, guys, don't give up hope!"

Journal Journal: Yargh!

I wish IE allowed for tabs, I must have some 10 windows open and even on a high res desktop it's hard to remember what is where. I like tabs, tabs have spoiled me.

Journal Journal: Bad Engrish!

I took some screenshots of the new Comodo patch for Ragnarok Online.

The new patch was implemented on the Sakray client yesterday. It's buggy, but a lot of the new skills and potions and monsters implemented are wild! It's added about 10% to the total map of Rune-Midgard, the realm in which the game is set on.

Journal Journal: International Ragnarok Online

I play Ragnarok Online, it's not as in depth as Ultima or Diablo or as huge but that's what I like about it. The landscape textures are gorgeous, the music is excellent, and I've always had a soft spot for 2-D game sprites.

For the specs, iRO uses 2-D bitmap sprites on a 3-D game plane, it's distributed by Gravity Interactive and it's $12 a month to play. You can find the English version at: http://iro.ragnarokonline.com

Journal Journal: "Let the Music Play"

I knew there was a reason I've liked David Bowie's music since I was in high school.

He's among those listed here that will NOT sue you out of your blood-money for not buying overpriced cd's and downloading instead of the hassle of buying an album you only wanted for that one track.

Journal Journal: Say the Least to the Most

For starters, I was born in 1979...

I'm one of those "second-hand" geeks, the ones that gain their knowledge from the geeks around them. I'm a girl geek, I suppose, not as hard core as some but not as subhuman as those inclined to use 1337-speak on school research papers. Fortunately, I've always been around technology. Ever since I was but a little baby geek and my dad taught photo-journalism and organised the local high school yearbook and newspaper for 13 years or more.

I found www.flobi.com today, I don't even remember how I came across it, but I saw the August 08, 2003 entry and read why they cancelled their AOL account.
