Especially streaming that you have to pay for.

It's convenience and being advertising free.... I don't want to have to find and store music for it to be ad free. If I'm on a road trip, or during my commute, or whatever - and I decide I want to hear something specific or new - "Hey Google - Play " Bam - there it is. No hassle, No wait, No searching, No ads...That's what I'm paying for. And with YT premium, you're also ad free on Youtube itself, which is it's own killer feature when you're watching on a smart tv, or you're at a hotel where many now have the ability for you to log in to the services you have on their TV with no hassle.

It's even more than that... Lab grown meat is significantly more expensive... The general population *might* entertain the idea when it's at price parity with normal meat. And if it becomes cheaper than normal meat, I think you'll see it take off - although most people that are financially secure will continue eating normal meat as a status symbol.

The question is - without the overhyping, would the things that Musks companies *have* done ever happened at all. I don't think without Tesla's success that other car companies would even be contemplating mass manufacturing EV's - they would still be just a super low volume stunt like the EV1 was. SpaceX also brought huge advances that I don't think any other space company would even have attempted. Reusable rockets - we finally have *ONE* company that might start competing (Bezo's Blue Origin) and if SpaceX hadn't proved reusability I don't think any other company would even have attempted it. We wouldn't have *good* internet from space (Starlink). Etc Etc. You can bash Musks lofty and missed predictions all you want - but without them, I don't think we'd be where we are today - so on balance, he has pushed Humanity forward immensely even if you don't like his politics.

The killer app would be to have cameras / lidar / whatever all around the court creating a live 3d broadcast of the whole game. Sit in any virtual seat you want -include group viewing with your friends so you can all sit in the same section and look over and see them(their avatar anyway...) - be able to pause it walk out and look and look at a play up close - with instant replay / whatever - but you get to control it all.

Seems like the water things should be easy... They use water for cooling... Drill 2 wells, one for drawing, and one for injection - it effectively becomes a closed loop that doesn't lower the water table - it's one of the more inexpensive ways to do geothermal heating/cooling without requiring a large ground loop installation.
