Heyo! Okay, time for an update:
Graphics card:I'm running a new and recent driver (released a few weeks ago) from nVidia and everything works perfectly.

UPDATE 12/21/04: My issues with this card were resolved over the weekend, as it turns out, it WAS just a driver problem. The card doesn't work properly with nVidia's generic All-In-One driver package or the card manufacturer's branded version of the same. I finally found a driver (6 months old though) that works perfectly and passess all the DirectX tests. So I decided to keep the card. Also, I was having troubles with system crashes in WinDVD, but that was resolved (with a little bit of he

Holy crap I think I just flunked DirectX... Like 50% of the test was on Pixel shaders.. Which could only be completed if you had your vertex shaders written properly first. omg... the horror. I did soooo bad It's not even funny. 2 hours and 24 minutes I was there. Last one to leave. The whole final was on material in the last 2-3 weeks of school. That sucks. No, that REALLY sucks. I spent my entire Thanksgiving break playing Warcraft III. It took about 24 tries to beat the 'Resident Evil' custom scenario map (Frozen Throne). 'SexyStephie' was the host, and quite possibly the best player the whole time.. One hell of a leader too... I think I talked her into adding me to her friends list! Yahoo!...
