Short Circuit's Journal: Cousin in the Hospital

One of my cousins, quite probably my favorite, is in the hospital. He's recovering from surgery that removed a brain tumor.

His having a tumor in the first place was a real shock to the whole family. We've been praying for him, and we're all thankful how far he's come at recovering from it. The doctors themselves are amazed...only a couple weeks after surgery, he's shown signs of cognitive ability, and can grasp the side of his bed when sitting up.

We're not out of the woods yet, though. It remains to be seen how much brain damage was caused by the tumor, and how far he's going to be able to recover. If you're into praying, well, we'd appreciate it.
