Ummmm... not to burst your bubble, but I'm actually a commercial electrician and we all wear steel toes. It's OSHA regs. And NO it is not a problem. Remember, elctricity likes a GROUND and the LOWEST STATE. It doesn't care if you have steel toes, if it's going to hit you, it usually goes in through an arm/finger and out through the HEEL of the boot. Strange but true. And if you are wondering, I'm commercial electrician with Data/Com certs. That is why I am here. "I'm not a real elcetrician, I'm just a geek with heavy boots, lots of tools, and a $6500 Cat5 budget."
