My favorites in order of preference:
1. No Such Thing as a Fish

2. The Weirdest Thing I Learned this Week
- 3 random well-researched facts from writers/editors at Popular Science.

3. The Cryptid Factor
- Rhys Darby, Dan Schreiber from No Such Thing as a Fish, and Buttons talk about cryptids and other weird stuff. So funny!

4. Judge John Hodgman
- John Hodgman decides who is right and who is wrong in petty disputes such as the husband wants to keep 25 year old robe because it's still good and wife wants to get rid of it or when should you put up christmas decorations. Also very funny.

5. The Pod F. Tompkast
- Paul F. Tompkins rambling which, if you've heard him before, you will know is very entertaining. This one finished a while ago, but episodes are still available for listening.

6. Creep It Real
- 2 people with delightful accents (to my ears anyway) talking about weird stuff and true crime. Episode topics are along the lines of: the dyatlov incident, black-eyed children, Jon Benet Ramsey, etc.

7. Weird: A Podcast of Curiosities
- Another well-researched podcast that covers bizarre topics like: the Cecil hotel, the Dybbuk box, and dyatlov pass. This podcast hasn't updated since March 2019...I'm not sure why and I hope the host is ok.

8. The Morbid Curiosity Podcast
- A VERY well-researched podcast about morbid, creepy, bizarre topics such as Typhoid Mary, Capgras Delusion, the Tamam Shud Case, etc. This podcast isn't very comedic and might be perceived as a bit dry by some as there is only one host and not really any banter. I actually like that they get right to the topic at hand, they are very unbiased in their presentation and I find it very informative and interesting.

9. Good Job, Brain!
- A pub quiz/trivia podcast that is cute and informative.

8. Smart People Podcast
- One smart guest per show, host asks great questions and you just end up learning a lot and really enjoying it.

Kids' Podcasts:

1. Brains On!
- Engaging and very polished informational podcast for kids. My 6 year old loves listening to it and I also learn some stuff.

2. The Alien Adventures of Finn Caspian
- Sci-fi serial done by a dad with input from his kid and some interactive components based on audience requests.

Thanks for the suggestions! I also like "creepy things". My favorite podcasts of that genre are: Creep It Real, Weird: A Podcast of Curiosities, and The Morbid Curiosity podcast. They research and discuss subjects like the Dyatlov pass incident, torture in history, Elisa Lam's death at the Cecil hotel, etc.
