If you like RTS (AoE, AoK, SC, TA, C&C), Empire Earth is the game for you. It has everything! The tremendous scope is like 3 games in one. Start with cavemen, end with mech. Its 3D, supporting all sorts of res and color depths. It also has a physics model, so units move similar to those in TA. 5 resources. All units have counters, with relationships that get more and more complex. There are units with magic throughout the ages as well. It also supports multiplayer (Internet or LAN) for 8 players. The AI has 3 levels of difficulty and you can actually ally with the AI! The scenario editor is amazing.
