Matt Smith Leaving Doctor Who Already? 423

bowman9991 sent in a disappointing rumor saying "Ironically Matt Smith, the youngest Doctor Who ever, apparently wants to retire early. An unconfirmed report suggests Smith would like to try his hand at Hollywood films after the end of his second season as the Doctor. Smith is currently filming this year's Doctor Who Christmas special with Karen Gillan, who plays his companion Amy Pond, and opera star Katherine Jenkins. After the Christmas special he goes straight into production on a new Doctor Who series set to air next year." I've tremendously enjoyed the Smith/Gillan combo, personally.

Which is kind of a fix in and of itself. If you have a problem, just do a search for it on the forum. Chances are, someone else will have run into it in the past. Barring that, you can submit a service request in-game, and I believe there are ways you can contact Blizzard through their support page on their main website, which is done via e-mail. There are options out there. Just gotta use your head.

Actually, it's optional. Originally, your forum name would associate with a character of yours. Any one of your choosing. That leads to people creating level 1 characters just to troll and be assholes in general. So, in order to circumvent that, Blizzard did this. HOWEVER, while it's not mandatory, you may still link your forum account to a character... as well as your real ID. So, either just your real name, or your real name AND a character. I kinda like it this way, actually.

Hey, I ate Happy Meals and Big Kids Meals and all that other stuff when I was a kid. I practically never ate at a fast food restaurant unless they had a toy that I wanted. And even then, I ate my meal, got my toy, played a little bit, and moved on. I had constraint. Even at 7, I was showing enough constraint that I didn't need to eat four or five meals just to get a few toys. That's absolutely ridiculous. And frankly, my dad would have whupped me if I tried to get a happy meal JUST for the toy. Is that what they're suggesting? Kids want more than one happy meal because of the toy, but the parents say "Okay, but only if you finish all your food!" RIGHT? If anything, it's the dumbass parents' fault for... y'know what? Fuck it. It's not even worth me talking about. Stupid dumbass fucking world and not a single god-damned person willing to take responsibility for their shit-headed actions...

Already exists. It's called "having to get elected next time". The trick is to make sure you find out what their real agenda is so that they have to campaign on that, instead of letting them carpet-bomb your district with litmus-test issues and fear-mongering.

Here's the problem with that statement. Two four-year terms. That's the most you can get. Even if you fuck up the first term, you still have those four years in office. And if you do an amazing job as president? Then you only get four more years. There's no real incentive there to actually DO WHAT YOU SAY. The impeachment laws are total bullshit. That's basically the ONLY thing we have to keep those in power in check, and when was the last time they were actually used effectively? Never. Not once, as I recall, has a president ACTUALLY been impeached. Tried, yes, several have, but none hit that mark. Everyone in the political ring knows it. Once you're in office, you're set. Do whatever the hell you want, because it doesn't matter, and either way, it's over in just a few short years. And even after that? If you were a terrible president, you're STILL a freakin' social figure. I hate this country. I'm getting close to giving up, if I ever get enough damn money to change anything... or move far away... Japan's really freakin' crazy, but it's looking nice right now.
