Thank you. Being a geek-chick (computer geek, gamer geek, history geek, music geek, et al.) It's nice to see another of my kind out there standing up for the cause. Many of us lurk in the background of geekdom, and are not obvious to anyone that doesn't know us.
I, personally, am a happily married 23-year-old geek-chick. My programmer husband and I live in an apartment that has more space devoted to computers, gaming than anything else. And that's before you factor in the space that serves as my workshop for wood and metal working, or the sewing shop.
Romance doesn't have to be a priority 1 factor in the life of any geek, but it should not be wholesale discounted. You could be missing the best opportunity ever to find someone who thinks like you and can work with you WITHOUT conflict.
