could take a baby, live on television, and snap its neck like a twig and there will still be followers supporting his decision because honestly...the hatred for the "opposition" is enough for his supporters to continue denying this very obvious, insanity-level, shitshow of a presidency and human being.

I hope in the future they amend the constitution to require the president to have at least some experience in political science or position before taking such an important job.

When it comes to politics you want evil because politics are fucking filthy and disgusting endeavors navigated by mostly intelligent, rich people.......not people of complete incompetence/stupidity/disconnect with the American populace while tweeting and dictating american politics based off conspiracy theories made by some basement troll....

The fact that everyone close to this administration is an "acting official" because, no one can keep their position under Trump long enough to solidify their position, should be enough of an indication of how screwed up the gears are in the machine. Nothing can get done when every "advisor" is just a temporary substitute teacher who says "yes sir" but doesn't know what they are doing. Open your fucking eyes people.

it's funny how many times we've seen in historical disasters, novels, movies....there was a scientist screaming "DONT DO THAT" or "THIS IS WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN BASED ON THIS".....and there's always some meathead present to go, "DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO, NOW DO IT" and just mashes a big large red button with his fist only to witness in horror what happens next....

this is pretty much par for the course in how humanity will eventually end because the people who know the least about science are the ones in charge explaining how it's useless, fake, biased, mumbo jumbo, yada yada. because they somehow know more than people who spent their entire lives measuring and studying one particular object/concept...

yes it must be a political agenda just like when scientists told the world to stop with CFCs because there was a hole in the fucking atmosphere.

imagine if the world said "shutup scientists you're just trying to let ::insert political party:: take an election or you just want money to fund research by fear mongering" back then with CFCs just like they are today with everything else........the large part of the northern hemisphere would be an irradiated wasteland by now....

scientists are lying thieves! shutup and enjoy the plastic rain!

back in the mid 1900s are to blame. they completely shot public transportation efforts to shit in order to sell more cars.

Now here we are with people enslaved to car monthly payments, more death/illness caused by pollution, millions more gallons of gas burned, pounds of metal/rubber/glass used, and deaths/injuries from auto collisions....

too bad it's impossible at this point to go back and fix things. Design of cities shouldve been modular from the get-go.

Design the planning to expand public transportation incrementally as the city/town expands instead of burning so much money in the process of retrofitting.

its better to build a hackintosh and save the money if you must use their OS....the design of their laptops aren't even innovative anymore, PC laptops have caught up to the sleek, minimalist look years ago.

don't understand how someone can remain loyal to Apple, they blatantly treat their customers like garbage with a smile on their face.

the $$$ drives the plot. lots of money to run the story from Amazon. whether it's deliberately sinister or not doesnt matter at this point.

it's the social engineering aspect of it all that creates problems for the sake of revenue. over time this kind of subversive content manipulates the population without them knowing it.

many have hit a fatigue point and I think it's a large reason the lack of trust in information has taken hold but ironically enough people will still eat up other spoon fed news stories/ideas because it already fits their own internal narrative.

this is what happens with the downfall of education and a population losing its ability to critically think.

that being said I wouldn't agree entirely with your packaged news narrative going back 100 years for every organization. my great aunt and uncle were among a handful of American journalists in WW2 China during the Japanese invasion and their stories weren't "packaged".

wouldnt say "free advertising". it is against FCC law to push an advertisement under the guise of a legitimate news segment.

News agencies are fined by the FCC every time they do this but the fine is so small in comparison to the advertising revenue generated/paid by said company, the News agency doesn't give a shit and continues to do it because of the $$$.

it's pretty easy to spot these days. ex. ever seen a product segment not inside the studio but "on location"?

all about social engineering these days. target the swing territories and pay a synergized social behavorialist and datamining group and just subliminally blast them incessantly with internet propaganda.

Both Obama and Trump used the same team and both won go figure. "The Great Hack" doc covered it. both threw a million bucks a day into social engineering.

the kicker is that the campaign company SCL is based in the UK and therefore their work in interfering with US elections by international law is considered an act of war. but who cares? democracy has been dead for a long time with gerrymandering, voter suppression, representatives who can go against the will of thejr constituenrs, and fighting for the advantage in an outdated electoral college system.
