Submission + - First remote exploit of the iPhone

Saunalainen writes: Mac Rumors has details of a remote root exploit of the iPhone. If the victim connects to a wireless access point which is under the control of the attacker, and attempts to load in Safari a URL which the attacker redirects to a maliciously crafted webpage, then the attacker can gain full access to the iPhone. A video demonstration of the attack is at the Independent Security Evaluators website.
