Like I said in another thread, if you're in a state where you're allowed to choose your "electricity manufacturer" you usually have a couple of options for renewable energy producers (e.g. wind, bio, solar, hydro, etc). If you live in one of these states, it's up to you to choose the right provider. Funny thing is - not many people know this... for some reason the local, old electric utility doesn't advertise to the public much that they have a choice.
