I agree 100% with your points. Nothing beats sitting in a comfy chair with a good book. One of my hobbies is sifting through used book stores for goodies. I have a ton of books on my ipod simply because thats easier to carry around than a paper back that often reaches 600-1000 pages, and before the ipod touch, I cant count the number of 'why didnt I bring a book???' times I encountered.

Gee, no pleasing anyone is there? First people get pissed because some zombies are (were?) black in Left 4 Dead 2. Now everyones pissed because theryre arent enough characters that arent white guys.

If your not on my side, your dead. Do they expect us to act differently if we come across a [insert ethnic here] opponent?

At one time, yeah. That was exactly it. You got your movies in the mail, watched them, took them to the store and got a new one. Blockbuster online would accept that you had turned your movie in, and you send the next one on its merry way. You could do this as many times as you wanted.
Then they limited it to only being able to trade in X amount of movies per month, but they still sent out new movies once the system registered one had been turned in.
Now they have this new development.

Thats one reason I liked DS9 over TNG. In TNG, you knew that everything would be okay at the end of the hour...with the exception of season finales. After that, everything would be back to normal.

DS9? Yeah, you knew everything would turn out in the sense that "the good guys always win"...but at what cost? Who would be in the ethical hot-seat next? Yeah, Sisko and Garak DID eventually get the Romulans in the war, but only after Garak had sabotaged a Romulan ship and framed the Dominion when plan A didnt work. Very few end-of-episode resolutions for this arc.

Why does the next Trek have to be centered around Starfleet and the Federation at all? Ive always thought that there should be more focus on other aspects. Id love to see a series/movie from the Klingon perspective. Vulcans and Romulans were allegedly once one and the same. What happened there?

I listen to Sirius primarily in my car. On occasion, I listen to one of what was XM via the music only channels on DirecTV.
When/if Satellite goes belly up, there goes my access to new music. Otherwise, Ill just plug in my mp3 and listen to that. I never liked FM radio all that much, going back long before Satellite came around.
I use winamp on my computer (okay, so I could go to shoutcast radio), but I never really got into services like pandora.
The whole thing about playing pandora through there iphone in the car...As Ive never owned an iAnything (yet), I have questions about that. Not all that relevant, though. My next MP3 will (reluctantly) be the iPod touch. Continuous 3G connection on the iPhone is one thing, but plain ol' wireless in a vehicle via the iTouch? Not so much...unless you have one of those new vehicles that apparently have that feature.

And I just had to upgrade my radio too (it was five years old, the buttons stopped working). Atleast I got it dirt cheap at Circuit City. Oh well.
