Microsoft adds a nontrivial amount of commuter traffic to local infrastructure, and the only two things they've ever ponied up for: - A contribution to a new overpass over the 520 freeway to connect the two halves of the main campus. This contribution was not the bulk of the funding. - The Connector bus system for employees, because Washington state is so bad at infrastructure planning that Seattle metro is choked with traffic.
