Astrophysicists assume that the laws of physics was the same when the universe came into existence. That assumption could be invalid. If the speed of light was different, for example, then we would need to know what it was back then. I think a better investment is further researching gravity.

Memory safety is a benefit of Rust that is commonly attributed to it. Another one is safer multithreading. Rust has a unique way of managing memory. It does not use garbage collection like C# does. It does not require the programmer to explicitly delete objects. It deletes heap objects automatically much like the way that items in the stack are removed. It does all that using ownership, borrowing, and lifetimes. Rust has a built-in package manager and build system. Microsoft has two Rust compiler backends. The original one is LLVM and is open-source. Microsoft has a MSVC codegen backend for Rust for internal use only that bypasses LLVM and interoperates better with C++, especially in a Windows environment. Using the MSVC codegen backend, Rust code can be intermingled within C and C++.

The world is less vulnerable to attacks by Iran such as in this article. Image how much damage Iran would have done when they were ready to and had the capability it had before. There is widespread belief that Iran should never have a nuclear weapon. California Governor Gavin Newsome says so. There is also widespread opinions of how to stop Iran.

I think installers should be warned to not make false statements to the police. If they make a police report that states something they know is not accurate then they are probably guilty of making a false police report.

I do not trust any mechanism provided by LG to disable the microphone, I am tempted to physically disable the microphone. An important question is where the microphone is. The Magic Remote has a microphone, if it is the only microphone for the TV then I can just stop using it. If the TV has a microphone in it then covering the opening for it might muffle it sufficiently. Otherwise the TV must be opened to get to the microphone. I am not asking for help, I am saying this in case it helps others.

Actually a model is not something we execute, it is like a blueprint. A system design. People have gotten models confused with implementations of models. When I ask a virtual assistant about that they often congratulate me on the issue.

It depends on your hardware how well it works. LM Studio is probably easier for us beginners than Ollama. You can ask a virtual assistant what model implementation is best for your hardware.
