Our offer for this townhome has been accepted. We have until the end of the week to lose our nerve. If we don't, we move in April 1st.

My wife wouldn't let me make that part of the offer, dammit.

We're pretty happy with it -- a lot bigger space than we have now, nicer, and a pretty neighbourhood. And we can huck rocks at the local school, it's so close. It's much further out than we are now (hell, we're right downtown right now) but it's not too far from public transit...we figure about 45 minutes commute time to our downtown jobs. Compared to the ten minute walk we have now it's a lot, but we're tough. :-)

Congratulations! I can't see the link anymore (invalid). What neighbourhood are you moving to? Paying into your mortgage sure kicks ass on paying rent.

You have to watch those commutes, my commute is almost one hour west, and my wife's is one hour east. ugh. Things will change when she stops working in the states and we can move closer to Vancouver again.

It's right by the north end of Queen's Park, close to McBride and 6th. As for commutes, both Clara and I work right downtown, and anyway fork() is due end of June.
