Naw, it's a fork(). It's just gonna take another 36 weeks to allocate a new PID. :-)

Many thanks. The tough part is gonna be cleaning up the computer room, as that's pretty much the only spare space we've got. And, of course, picking a distro...what's everyone using for newborns these days?
