Journal Safety Cap's Journal: "We're one bad MoFo & we'll kick your butt, too!"--Rumsfeld 4
Perhaps Donald skipped international relations class the day they talked about how Kim Sung Il is like this freaky man-god dictator, and how if we try to invade we'll get our butts handed to us by the populace, just like in... the Korean War (co-starring the Chinese).
Oh wait, maybe it is failing to learn from mistakes of the past by fighting a two-front war? DUH! Hitler tried it and lost (Russia and the Western front), Johnson attempted it and lost (Vietnam and the War on Poverty), and now you think you can play '4-front war' by taking on both Iraq and North Korea, in addition to Afghanistan (still unfinished) and this "war" on terrorism and "win"? Just who do you think is going to pay for all this? What's the ROI? And don't say National Security, either, because we all know that's a load of tripe.
Don't blame me. I voted with the majority.
Yay for the end of the US. (Score:2)
I can see it starting to happen now, just by walking around and seeing the bumper stickers, and printed signs in peoples windows. Nobody likes the manufactured Wars. We have the war on terrorism, we have the war on drugs, we have the war on hunger. Any others that I forgot?
Now we're getting real wars. We're killing people. We want to attack North Korea? Yeah, go right ahead. There is a very good reason why North Korea doesn't fear us.
They don't fucking need to. I'm pretty sure the presidency needs to understand that the US of A isn't the super power it used to be. We aren't the best. We're lone gunman in a world of treaties and allies. American allies won't stick by the idiocies that are running rampant.
From an American, to every other citizen of every nation: I'm sorry. Do not help America, let the government learn it's lesson and hope that we turn back into a democracy or a republic, and not a dictatorship of money and corruption.
I gave up on voting, and won't do it again because the votes don't matter. Did I get to vote for the DMCA? Did I get to vote for the president? Did it matter?

If the USA is so bad and should self-destruct as some people here have suggested, then why don't you just leave the country? No country is perfect. There is no utopia. You can criticize the decisions of this country's government -- protest them all you want. But, there is a line that is crossed when you say you want to see the country you live in fall to pieces. That tells me that you really should live somewhere else. Why live in such a horrible country that you can freely leave and relocate away from? I can see why people in other countries don't leave (because they simply can't), but for those who live in the U.S. and hate it so much there is no excuse.
I'm not saying "love it or leave it." I'm saying if you feel that things are so bad here that the country should be dismantled, then you can obviously find a better place to live. Debate the policies and politics all you want, but don't give up on the U.S. so easily. Afterall, if you're a U.S. citizen, then you're giving up on yourself.
