My grandmother wrote in her journal that if she'd known doing that would get her pregnant, she wouldn't have done it. What I didn't know was that less than 100 years ago it was illegal to teach women about contraception, let alone sell condoms. America has come a long way since then, but now we're moving backwards with this abstinence only conspiracy that's going on in our country. I felt powerless to do anything about it until I realized that each one of us can be safe sex educators by wearing something to make people think!
