I've wanted to switch to linux for a while but gaming was holding me back. Finally switched after the deck was released, and it's great. All the games I care about run great, only one old game and some stuff that must have been bundle trash are incompatible. Google "steam deck pc environment" or something like that and you might find their page for setting up a PC for compatibility testing. Basically Manjaro linux with plasma, and turn on a compatibility setting in Steam.

Same here. After some research, I settled on a Zowie FK1, and I'm quite happy with it. The main criteria for me were similar shape and size to my old intellimouse, comfortable for a fingertip grip, and low lift-off distance. It has adjustable DPI and lift-off distance, which can be adjusted on the mouse. No special drivers.

I'll second forkboy's recommendation. I've got a year-old C32 AMG (comparable to the M3 being discussed) that runs in the 50-60k USD range. I think you can get a brand new C320 for 40-45k or so, and it'll be quicker and handle better than the older model. Navigation system is pretty nifty (although I hear the Japanese ones are better), and I don't have the built-in phone and voice-recognition, but that looks pretty good if you want gadgets.

A BMW would probably be a good choice too, I'm just a Mercedes fan.
