Until the developers open their feedback inbox one morning to a flood of 'omg hax aimbot' messages. I think they make it a little bit harder on purpose just to weed that shit out.
Of course, if they automatically filtered anything containing the words 'omg', 'hax', 'leet', 'lamer' or 'noob', they'd probably not encounter this desire to slit their throats in the morning.
