Wouldn't you think that we would want our astronauts to have top of the line, cutting edge technology to work with? I just think they should have to best resources to help their research in space. Now with that though, the problem lies with the technology. Is it too new and foreign to the astronauts that they wouldn't be able to fix it if it breaks? I understand how they like the reliability of the old machines, but it just seems like we should send them up there with only the best technologies as to optimize production. Plus, the iPad could be a pretty nice space/weight saver.

Using bacteria to fix concrete? Now that's thinking outside the box. This will be a great money saver for any size city by not having to replace whole slabs of concrete. My only concern is... isn't it just like slapping some duct tape on there? Either way, I have a feeling this will become huge in the near future.

These TSA guys are simply doing their jobs. There's no reason to be upset at them. As for patting down a child, as wrong as it may seem, it has to me done. There's plenty of sick people who would use children to hide things. The TSA are in the right here, not a real story at all.
