The much anticipated browser from Google (since yesterday I guess) - Google Chrome is now ready for download from their website - http://wwww.google.com/chrome. Like most other google products it looks much lighter, faster and cleaner on first observation.

I am a graduate student of computer science and looking for a good book on Object Oriented Design Patterns. I could not find a better place than the slashdot community to recommend the best book in this area. I think these patterns can be applied to any Programming Language, if not then I am more inclined towards Java. Please help me!

Youtube is down at this time. It is right now 1:14 EST, and if you go to the site it is mentioned as a Scheduled Downtime for new concoctions and formulas. But, it looks like they are going to make same major changes after google bought youtube.

NetBeans IDE 5.5 is now available for download from their official site. They have some very interesting new features, but the debate over which is the best IDE, either Eclipse or NetBeans still continues.

Google WiFi network is now available for all the 72,000 residents of Mountain View, where Google's headquarters are located.
